April 11th Installfest cancelled
From: Michael Harrison Via chugalug ------------------------------------------------------ For a bevy of reasons, no Linux Installfest on April 11th at Chatt*Lab Going to regroup, and aim for one in May with more coordination and resources and more available time from people. Will update this list ASAP. Why? Well, I got 30 Ventoy USB drives to make good use of. :) Why? Well, Microsoft. Nuff said. --Mike-- aka --Meuon--=============================================================== From: Stephen Kraus Via chugalug ------------------------------------------------------ If anyone in Chattanooga still wants to meet I'll be in town Saturday sadly May will be more busy for me .
=============================================================== From: "Greg Laudeman, Ed.D. Via chugalug" ------------------------------------------------------ I kinda hate to hear that but am psyched because I really want to participate (and learn)! What can I do? How can I help? -- Greg Laudeman, Ed.D. *Executive Officer and Principal* Eduity, LLC www.eduity.net greg@eduity.net 706-271-5521
=============================================================== From: Michael Harrison Via chugalug ------------------------------------------------------ Greg, Will update all when I know. I'll probably drive the next installfest... and I'll be tagging Mr. Laudeman and Moth both to assist. .
=============================================================== From: Aaron welch Via chugalug ------------------------------------------------------ I will also be down for helping with the next one. Maybe we can merge installfest and swap meet? -Aaron Aaron Welch Chief Mechanic @ Geek Ventures 423-505-9999 n2nightfall@gmail.com "Enabling people to do great things with their own ideas." chugalug@chugalug.org> wrote: P.
=============================================================== From: Dave Brockman Via chugalug ------------------------------------------------------ I probably have some machines that can be donated/sold inexpensively as=20 well. (Won't run Win11, that's all I'll say at the moment, but they=20 were [mostly] viable Win10 desktops). I've got ~$35 worth of SSDs in=20 each I'd like to recoup, coffee and brisket money optional.
